Sunlight Development Trust use community development to tackle long standinghealth and social inequalities. We do this in partnership with localagencies, local business and most importantly people and communities. Wehave been fortunate enough to have been involved in the Friends of AdmiralsGardens from the start. Our role includes offering; advice, communicationchannels with community groups, information space on community radio andwebsite, a framework to facilitate related volunteer led activities.

Many Sunlight staff and volunteers recognise the value of this green space. We are keen to help build this awareness and ecological development incollaboration with the friends group.

Skinner Street Primary School - "We were proud to take part in the time capsule project linked to the new Mid-Kent College and Admirals' Gardens. The pupils enjoyed designing a town crest for Gillingham which reflected their hopes and aspirations for the future of Gillingham. The school was represented at the ceremony by a member of staff and one of our pupils."
